FEARNS BAR NOISE COMPLAINTS UPDATE

Following several resident complaints the Environmental Protection Team and Licensing attended the premises this week at Leeds Dock.

The complaints and noise nuisance issues were discussed at length with management at the premises.

Currently there are number of procedures in place at the premises to mitigate nuisance outbreak, however it was admitted that these may not be sufficient for this type of premise and its style of operation.

The premises has instruct a sound engineer to conduct a comprehensive report at the premises in order to gain an accurate reflection of any noise or nuisance outbreak. Officers will engage with the premises during this process.

A full licensing inspection was also carried out, and a number of outstanding issues were identified and again further engagement is required from officers.

Once these actions have been completed, I will update residents again.
