INNER SOUTH LEEDS COMMUNITY COMMITTEE UPDATE

This week at the Leeds City Council Inner South Community Committee, Cllr Mohammed Iqbal and I approved funding to the following groups for a variety of projects - showing our commitment to invest in all of your wards communities.

- Hunslet & Belle Isle Community Project

- Rowland Road (WMC) Play Space (Yorkshire Contemporary)

- Middleton Park Juniors

- South Leeds FC

- Kurdish House Leeds/The Nawroz School in Leeds

- Hamara Healthy Living Centre

- LCC Green Spaces Team (Hunslet Moor Play Equipment)

- LCC Green Spaces Team (Cross Flatts Park Exercise Equipment)

At the meeting we also had an update from West Yorkshire Police - Leeds South and the LCC Green Spaces Team on the impact of the recent storm on trees across the area and the wider city.
