My Weekly Roundup of My Work in The Ward

Here is my round up of some of the work and meetings I've attended in the last week.


On Tuesday I had a meeting about an upcoming project to support those who haud in Hunslet.


I then had a meeting about issues related to unapproved short term holiday lets within the city centre.


I also dropped by the Yorkshire Contemporary Health Holiday project in Cross Flatts Park.


On Wednesday I attended the Housing Leeds action day on the Hemingways in Hunslet, dropped by the start of the Hunslet and Belle Isle Community fun day on the Hunslet promenade/square, and then attended a trustee meeting at Involve Leeds.


On Thursday I dropped into South Bank Sanctuary Leeds for a coffee during their regular Cafe and Food Pantry. I then visited that Heathy Holiday Project run by Champions Community Sport on Hunslet Moor


Friday I had no meetings but the day was all taken up by casework and chasing up a number of outstanding projects a cross Hunslet, Beeston and Leeds City Centre.


On Saturday I dropped by the fun day at Rowland Road WMC arranged by Beeston Hill Community Association - Leeds.


On Sunday I attended a meal at Al-Madina Jam-e Masjid with at Cllr Mohammed Iqbal and Cllr Shaf Ali Beeston & Holbeck and caught-up with some project leaders.


All the while, I was continuing to work on casework and with partner agencies on the many ongoing concerns in the areas I represent.
