It's been a busy couple of days of meetings. I've posted about some already, here are the rest.
On Wednesday, I attended several school related meets in the morning before joining fellow Friends of Hunslet Moor and Friends of Cross Flatts Park committee members in the evening to look at upcoming events at both.
I also attended the Leeds Labour Local Campaign Committee.
On Thursday, I had my monthly briefing as the Chair of the Leeds City Council South and West Plans Panel as part of my citywide roles.
This was followed by attending the Neighborhood Improvement Board - which focused on Hunslet and Riverside Ward this time - to look at the cross-sector work being done to address some of the deep seeded issues across the ward's many communities.
I ended the day attending the Selective Licensing consultation drop-in, speaking to both officers, residents, and landlords.
Today, I attended a site visit with a developer before taking part in the councillor stakeholder panel as part of the process of recruiting a new CEO for the Council. This is only a small part in an extremely rigorous and intense assessment and interview process to recruit the council's most important non-elected position.
All the while I have been doing casework, chasing up projects, and pushing forward new initiatives to support local residents.
